The club had our first Star ( Star Action in Rotary) Program of the new Rotary year on the 21st of September at the residence of PAG Muyiwa Matuluko. We had 40 members in attendance including our trainers/facilitators and club trainer.
We had in attendance as well 25 new Rotarians who are less than two years in the club. The program started with breakfast in the morning while PDG Raji took us all on History of Rotary and Gbagada, it was also the turn PDG Shoga who gave his presentation on membership and The Rotary Foundation and next was PAG Layi Abidoye on Rotary basics and IPDG Kola Sodipo on Club engagement and development.
It was also time for questions and answers which was very interactive and engaging.
This gave our new Rotarians opportunity to ask very important questions for improving and increasing the Rotary knowledge and developing their skill. There was lots of food and drinks to take and so much fun members had. The program lasted for 8 hours
